Researchers from the University of Wageningan Netherlands recently found that apples and pears was able to prevent a stroke. In fact there is a saying one apple a day may keep the doctor from.
For those who enjoy the fruits there is good news that the fruit with white flesh has a lower risk of stroke than those who do not consume. The study included medical records of 20 069 people.
The researchers also found that consuming 25 grams of white fleshed fruit or 125 grams of apples per day may lower the risk of stroke by 52 percent.
